Almost done!

Well, here's the first slipcover, almost complete. I just need to finish the skirt al around and do a couple finishing touches. I'm pretty proud of it. I just try not to think about the little quirks. I did more unpicking than I care to mention. All around it surprisingly wasn't too terribly hard...just took a lot of patience.

Basically I pinned the material to the couch, inside out; and basted in sections (all except the skirt); and then pieced it all together.

I'm probably going to do some alterations still so I'll have to post again with it complete.

Cusions

Here are the finished cushions I put together yesterday. I'm pretty happy with them! I'm trying really hard not to look at the flaws.

If you want to know the steps, first I measured the material by placing it on top of the couch cushion and cutting. I made four of these.

Evan got his ear cut by Annabelle trying to cut a string that was around Evans head. He's laughing about it. Sorry kids, no more helping!!!
